Ribbon Embroidery

Ribbon embroidery on pillows. Found below item in Lovely Lace shop.

I'm not sure what kind of ribbon that they used.Maybe satin but they should use silk
ribbon because it can fold nicely and got the rich look if it is apply to any cloth materials.
It's abit difficult to find it here and a bit expensive too compare with satin ribbon.I did not
have any project as yet on ribbon embroidery.

What is decoupage?

Decoupage is a decorative effect obtained by gluing shapes of paper or other material to a surface, then applying clear or varnish coats overtop. Paper or other material are reffering to serviette or any beautiful wrapping papers you can find.

My choice for decoupage is getting the specific decoupage paper, specially designed by the original artist. The first and third tray I used the same decoupage paper by the same artist, forgot her name. Noticed that a few lavender and leaves was added in my first tray to make it more lively and smoothly blend with the roses.
My 2nd tray is handpainted and designed by Annette Stevenson.
